Dr Peter J Larsen

Dr Peter J Larsen is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist with special interests in interventional cardiac and endovascular procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stenting, peripheral arterial disease diagnosis and treatment, percutaneous valvuloplasty and structural heart interventions. He is also a registered specialist in CT Coronary Angiography.

Dr Mark Johnson is a Clinical Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging specialist with Sunshine Coast Heart Specialists. Mark is a graduate of the University of Queensland and completed his basic Physician training and training in Clinical Pharmacology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr KK Lim graduated from the University of Queensland and completed his physician training at Mater Adult Hospital before specializing in cardiology at Townsville and Prince Charles Hospitals. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

Dr Naresh Dayananda

Dr Naresh Dayananda grew up in Brisbane and, despite his misspent youth playing computer games, graduated from the University of Queensland in Medicine. He trained in medicine at the three major hospitals in Brisbane as well as Toowoomba and Nambour. In his year at Nambour Hospital and living on the coast, he fell in love with the Sunshine Coast.

Prof. Tony Stanton

Professor Tony Stanton is a general cardiologist who has special interests in general cardiology, heart failure and non-invasive cardiovascular imaging. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1996 and was awarded his PhD in 2005 from the same institution. He continued his clinical training in Scotland before first coming to Australia in 2007 to complete a 2 year post-doctoral cardiac imaging fellowship before returning to the UK.

Dr Matthew Tung

Dr Matthew Tung is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist with expertise in cardiac rhythm management. He currently holds a senior staff cardiologist appointment at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. After completing his medical degree at Monash University he began residency at Monash Health and then completed training in cardiology at MonashHEART, University Hospital Geelong and Bendigo Hospital.
